E-portfolios are sometimes organized around specific competencies. Hence the Page (section, really) for literacies. At York we’re talking a lot about reading, writing, quantitative literacy, information literacy, and more. I’m interested in something that I suppose is a sub-component of information literacy – interface literacy.

I can imagine that as York moves forward in Gen Ed reform, we may want to ask students to include in their portfolios work that illustrates their literacies.
